In the latest interview for Malaria Nexus, Andrew Richford talks with Matthew Hann, the Communications Manager for Riders for Health, an international non-governmental organization born out of the world of motorcycle racing. Riders for Health aim to ensure that health workers in Africa have uninterrupted access to reliable transport. They have put in place reliable preventive maintenance systems for two- and four-wheeled vehicles used in health care delivery allowing health workers to reach rural villages and be able to provide the best health care. Matthew talks about the foundation of the organization, and how it has developed from idea to its current successful incarnation.
