Interview with Prof. Raymond St Leger
02 November 2011
In our latest interview with leading malaria researchers, Andy Richford speaks to Prof. Raymond St Leger, of the Department of entomology, University of Maryland.
Prof. St Leger and colleagues recently published the paper Development of transgenic fungi that kill human malaria parasites in mosquitoes, in Science.
In this interview Prof. St Leger discusses the work described in his paper, and elaborates on how the development of pathogenic fungi can lead to future control of malaria in the field. We thank Prof. St Leger for taking the time to talk with us.
